Workshop 3: Intellectual Property ft. Steve Davis, March 12th, 2026 (IN PERSON)
If you missed Parts 1 and 2 in the series, there's still plenty of time to plan on Parts 3 and 4! Each workshop covers a specific topic of Business & Legal Basics for Artists, so we hope you will join us at one or all of the remaining sessions!
What rights do artists actually have in their work—and how do those rights show up in practice? Workshop 3: Intellectual Property, led by Steve Davis, Esq., breaks down the essentials of intellectual property law in clear, approachable terms. Artists across disciplines will learn the basics of copyright, trademarks, ownership, and licensing, with an emphasis on how these concepts affect creative careers, business decisions, and collaborations. Open to artists, attorneys, producers, and creative entrepreneurs.
Attorneys are welcome; MCLE credit is available for an additional fee.
Students may attend for free.
Please Note:
Each workshop requires a separate registration. See link below each title to register for each.
All workshops in this series are eligible for 1.5 hours of MCLE credit which can be added to the cost of registration.
