Summer focuses on both intellectual property prosecution and litigation. She prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and develops strategic approaches to portfolio management tailored to each client’s business goals. Her practice also includes trademark registration and enforcement, brand management, and copyright protection for creative and technology-driven ventures. During law school, Summer served as Editor-in-Chief of the Belmont Law Review, overseeing publication of scholarly articles on emerging legal issues. Additionally, she completed a judicial externship with Justice Jeffrey S. Bivins of the Tennessee Supreme Court and Judge Joseph A. Woodruff in the State of Tennessee’s 21st Judicial District.
